Big Ideas, Real Therapist who helps you bring them to life.
Nicole’s work with ADHD is grounded in both extensive clinical training and lived, real-world understanding. This dual perspective allows her to provide care that is not only evidence-based, but also deeply practical and relatable.
Nicole’s clinical foundation includes specialized work in ADHD through the University of Southern California, where she developed advanced skills in assessment, intervention, and executive functioning support. In addition, she has pursued continued education in child development with a strong emphasis on ADHD, ensuring her approach reflects the most current research and best practices.
Beyond formal training, Nicole brings meaningful personal and professional experience with ADHD, offering insight into how symptoms present across different environments—home, school, and social settings. This allows her to tailor interventions that are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with each client’s daily life.
A core area of Nicole’s specialization is family-centered ADHD work. She understands that ADHD does not exist in isolation—it impacts family dynamics, communication patterns, and emotional climate. Nicole works closely with parents and caregivers to:
Build a shared understanding of ADHD
Reduce conflict and misinterpretation of behaviors
Strengthen communication and consistency across the home
Support effective structure, boundaries, and follow-through
Her goal is to help both individuals and families move from frustration and confusion to clarity, confidence, and connection.

Anger and Anxiety
I specialize in working with anxiety and panic disorders and have over 3,000+ hours of individual client experience treating these concerns.
My approach combines:
Cognitive reframing and restructuring
Grounding and nervous system regulation techniques
Relational therapy with intentional, healthy self-disclosure
I openly share that I have personally experienced generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder, which allows me to connect with clients in a deeply authentic and regulating way. My goal is to help clients feel understood, not analyzed.
Many people — and even clinicians — confuse anxiety and panic. I help clients clearly understand the difference:
Anxiety often feels like being stuck or frozen in thought — constant overthinking, anticipation, and mental spiraling.
Panic feels like your body is actively shutting down — intense physical symptoms such as racing heart, dizziness, shortness of breath, or a fear of dying.
In my work, I use real-life simulations and examples so clients can visually and physically understand the difference between an anxiety response and a panic response. This clarity is essential for gaining control and reducing fear.
A major focus of my work is helping clients understand how fear becomes a pattern — and how that pattern drives avoidance behaviors that keep anxiety and panic cycles alive.
I have extensive experience working with fears such as:
Fear of doctor’s offices or medical environments
Fear of flying on planes
Fear of playing in sports games or performance settings
Fear of dying or losing control
Fear of small spaces (claustrophobia)
Fear of medical devices, procedures, or staff
Dental anxiety and fear of evaluation environments
Together, we break down how these fears develop, how they are reinforced, and how to safely and effectively reduce their intensity.

Self Confidence and Self Worth in Teens
I specialize in working with teens and young adults and have over 3,000 hours of relational, individual client work with a consistent full caseload supporting individuals during some of the most critical years of identity development.
As a younger therapist, I naturally connect with teens — especially those who feel resistant to therapy, have had negative past experiences, or are unsure about opening up. My style is warm, vibrant, and highly relatable, which helps create a space where teens feel safe enough to engage authentically.
My work centers entirely around the teen. I prioritize their voice, their pace, and their experience, which often allows them to feel a sense of control, safety, and trust in the process.
I use:
Cognitive reframing to challenge self-critical thinking
Motivational interviewing to build internal drive and autonomy
Pattern recognition to help teens identify cycles of self-sabotage and negative beliefs
With a strong trauma-informed approach, I support teens struggling with self-worth, identity, and confidence by creating a space that is steady, supportive, and never rushed. We move at their pace, especially when there has been damage to self-esteem or identity.
I also incorporate movement and sports-based elements into therapy, helping teens feel engaged and comfortable — not like they are being interviewed, but understood in a way that fits their world.
My goal is to help teens not just cope, but build a stronger sense of self, confidence, and direction that carries into adulthood.
