Dog Assisted Therapy
What to ExpectA gentle pause from the pace of everyday life.
For clients who feel socially anxious, shy, nervous, or simply more comfortable with an animal nearby, these pups can bring a little extra warmth (and a lot less pressure) into the therapy space. Depending on the client and treatment goals, they may walk, hike, play, cuddle, or simply hang out alongside us while we talk.
For my neurodivergent people who think better while moving, a session might include a therapeutic walk to Neptune’s Frozen Yogurt, a hike selected together, or outdoor movement with one of the dogs tagging along.
❋ Intentional StructureWe blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.
❋ Collaborative EnergyConnection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from hiking with doggos as from talk therapy itself.
❋ Expert FacilitationLed by an experienced therapist who knows how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.
❋ A Supportive SpaceOur sessions prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.
Reconnect your child and help them escape the noise of everyday life.
Experience oneArrive & Bond with furry friends
We take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with the fur babies around us. The journey starts here. Enjoy a relaxing session with the emotional support of German Shepards and soon to be offered… Frenchies!
Set Intentions & Reflect with a furry companion
Together, we pause to consider our goals, hopes, and direction. This is about aligning with ourselves and with the journey ahead. This is a chance to reconnect with what brought you here—your questions, your hopes, your turning points—and consider how they’ve shifted or deepened.
Looking Forward to scheduling with pups
Whether we explore deep rooted trauma
OR unpack your day, we provide support through pauses. These pauses, pets, cuddles and clarity given to you by doggos can help calm the nervous system and allow for transformative and groundbreaking connections.
